Creamed Corn Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Stovetop Instructions:
- In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Stir in the corn kernels and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they start to soften.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whole milk. Add the salt, black pepper, and paprika. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it cook, covered, for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is tender and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.

- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
